We love the new Viet-Thai Taste #2. We always get takeout and it’s a lot of food which is good for leftovers. Orange chicken is my “Go to” and I like several of the appetizers on their menu. Someday I will actually try the soup….
Their food is absolutely amazing! It took us a minute to figure out if we sat ourselves, but they were busy and short staffed. Once they took our order it came quickly and I have to say, it's the best Pho of I have had in Iowa. My husband got the yellow curry soup and it was BEAUTIFUL! So be patient as they figure out staffing. The food is worth it and the staff incredibly nice!
We are regulars here, working our way through the menu. I like the calming music they play. Portions are always generous. We can usually get a second meal out of what we order. We always get the spring rolls. They are the best! Tonight my husband ordered his favorite Drunken Noodle and I am tried Stir Fry Squid. Delish! Full of flavor!
Ordered on doordash. Food was absolutely incredible!!! Great portion sizes and great flavor. My only wish is i would’ve gotten it a bit more spicy. My fault; not theirs. Will know for next time as I will be back!
Good food. Fair prices. Nice people. They deserve the business. Name changed, but still the same great place. Custom noodle: 10/10 Spring roll: 8/10 Tofu eggplant: 10/10 Great vegetarian and vegan options.
The food portion is perfect, and the price is fair. Fried rice is good, but it could be better with a little more seasoning. Drunken noodle stir fried is tasty, asked for 3/5 spicy level for husband. Eggrolls and chicken wings are also tasty. Love the chili sauces on the wings. It a little sweet for me, but it's still good. We spend $45 for 4 things. Will come back again.
If you’re not ordering this Pho you’re missing out… service was good and quick. We had crab rangoons and shrimp spring rolls as appetizers. They came out quickly. The spring rolls were fantastic. Crab Rangoons were also delicious. We split an order of pork Pad Thai and Raw Beef Pho. The waiter brought us extra bowls and plates to split the food. I eat Pho all over the metro and I think this pho held up to some of the best Pho restaurants in Des Moines.
We seated ourselves and we're waited on promptly by the cook who also took our order. The server came by after and was also very polite though he had somewhat broken English. The food was delicious, presented well, and made quickly. Definitely worth a visit!
This place is a gem, right off the highway and on the edge of town. I’ve eaten here multiple times. Always friendly service, ample parking, quick turn on dine-in orders (very important over the lunch hour), and the food is very good. Filling portion sizes. Most likely you’re taking some home. Their Pho is my favorite dish. Also like the Pad Thai, typically order the beef & chicken combo. Long and short of it, you won’t go wrong here. I’ve tried four different items off the menu and each was very good. If you’re tried of fast-food or run of the mill buffets, this is an excellent alternative.
First time at this location during Tulip Fest. This is the best Tom yum soup I ever had. The soup was full of vegetables and shrimp with tons of flavors !! My spicy noodles tasted great. Great spot for lunches and dinners. I will be back again.
